‘Green Bungalow’,

Box 6: 2, St Thomas’s Road

‘Green Bungalow’ is based on a photograph of a house in Carbis Bay in Cornwall. It is viewed through a frame or fence to divide the composition. It is a study for a larger painting exploring seaside vernacular styles of architecture. I am fascinated by resorts and how things are heightened by being on holiday and the weather.
