Originally from Vancouver Canada having lived in Asia and Europe, Stacey settled to Cambridge in 2005. After completing a city and guilds in stained and fused glass she quickly fell in love with kiln formed glass. Her technique has developed considerably over the years always experimenting with different materials. Originally the work was abstract, now it almost always represents nature in glass.
