This piece is an invite into an alternative space, between what we can physically see and feel. A portal into a space of harmony and positive vibrations. With elements referenced back to Dermitzaki’s personal experiences of nature in Cambridge. Leaving the viewer with thoughts surrounding topothesia and metaphysics within the creative industry.
Dermitzaki is a local Cambridge Fine Artist, originally from Greece. Working across mediums from painting to moving image and installations. Her cultural experiences have had an ongoing dialogue within her practice. Finding a space where she felt she belongs, is directly expressed with the concept of fluidity between a space. Allowing nature to become the prime focus whilst depicting the positive effects it has on our wellbeing.
